Lash Courses

Course final payments

If you book a course in Belfast, starting less than 2 calendar months ahead, the final balance needs to be paid 48 hours in advance of the course date.  Otherwise, the final balance needs to be paid by the last working Friday of the month prior.

For locations outside Belfast, the final balance needs to be paid 4 - 6 weeks prior to the course starting date.  You will find more information on final payments in the 'Personalised booking email' sent to you.

Full details on how and when to make the payment, will be detailed in the personalised booking email from Emma, sent to you after booking your course.

Failure to make the final payment, on time, will result in a late payment fee of £10 for each day that payment is late.


Course Cancellations & Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a Course, please email us at lashedbyemma888@gmail.com or call/text/WhatsApp Emma on 07368397182.

If you Cancel your Course, you will automatically lose your deposit and any monies paid to Lashes 888 will not be refunded.

To Reschedule a Course, you must do this with 3 days notice, to avoid any further charges of up to £129.

We believe that neither party should reschedule at short notice. However, we acknowledge that such situations can occur. For more information on the implications of this, please consult the full terms and conditions outlined below.

Rescheduling a course means, you do not lose your deposit or monies paid to Lashes 888, please follow the policy outlined above.  

Furthermore, the full balance of the course needs to be paid 48hrs prior to the agreed course booking date & time.  The exact date and time will be in the personalised booking email sent by Emma, after you booked your course.

We allow rescheduling any number of times, for genuine reasons. please follow the policy outlined above.
 

Course Attendance 

Please arrive 5 minutes before the course is due to start.  If you arrive 60 mins or more late, we may not be able to train that day and therefore need to reschedule last minute.  Please see information above on what happens in this case.


Additional Course Training

After completing course & you feel you need another session to be confident in your new skill, we may provide additional practical support at no extra cost to you. Please see detailed information below on ADDITTIONAL TRAINING


The Assessment 

How long to complete the Assessment?

12 months.

You must submit an Assessment within 12 months, of the 1st day of your training, to obtain your Diploma. You must complete in your own time, in your own space.  If you have been offered Belfast Studio time, to complete part of your Assessment, you must take this opportunity when available.  If you cancel, for whatever reason, you will not be offered another opportunity.  


What if more more time is needed?

Should you fail to submit your Assessment within 12 months, from the date of your training, you must undertake a 1/2 day refresher course, for the Beginner's course, priced at £95 or a full day refresher course for the Combined or Lash Master course, priced at £195.  


What pictures do you need to send?

You must submit before and after photos of a fresh set of lashes, for all the Lash styles you have learned, on a real life person. 

As well as before and after pictures of an infill for all the styles you have learned.

For the lash lift course, you must submit before, during and after pictures of the entire lash lifting & tinting process.


1 Style Beginner's Course - Classic - 4 pictures only

1. Before photo of a fresh set of Classic lashes - 1 picture only
2. After photo of a fresh set of Classic lashes - 1 picture only
3. Before photo of an infill set of Classic lashes- 1 picture only
4. After photo of an infill set of Classic lashes- 1 picture only


3 Style Advanced Course - Volume - 4 pictures only
(Choose between Russians, Hybrids or Mega Volume)

1. Before photo of a fresh set of Volume lashes - 1 picture only
2. After photo of a fresh set of Volume lashes - 1 picture only
3. Before photo of an infill set of Volume lashes- 1 picture only
4. After photo of an infill set of Volume lashes- 1 picture only


4 Style Combined Course - 8 pictures
Classic - 4 pictures only
Volume - 4 pictures only

1. Before photo of a fresh set of Classic lashes - 1 picture only
2. After photo of a fresh set of Classic lashes - 1 picture only
3. Before photo of an infill set of Classic lashes- 1 picture only
4. After photo of an infill set of Classic lashes- 1 picture only

Lash Lift & Tint Course - 3 pictures

1. Before photo  - 1 picture only
2. During treatment photo - 1 picture only
3. After photo - 1 picture only


You must source your own model(s). If you cannot source yourself, please let Emma know, a model may be sourced for you at a cost of £40 per model.


Online Courses

As well as a short multiple answer Quiz for the Online Courses & pass rate of 70%.

If you decide you no longer wish to submit the Assessment, for whatever reason, you will not be eligible for a refund.  You must submit Assessment photographs (as outlined above), in order to obtain your Fully Certified Internationally Recognised Diploma.


Healthy & Safety

For health and safety reasons, children & babies cannot be brought to training sessions and we ask that you do not use your mobile phone during training and all devices must be put on silent.


Last Treatments

Lash Booking Cancellations & Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a Lash Booking, you must do this with 2 full working days notice, please email us at lashedbyemma888@gmail.com or call/text/WhatsApp Emma on 07368397182.

For short notice rescheduling, less than 24 hours notice, you will automatically lose your deposit & all monies paid to Lashes 888 Studio Ltd.  You will also be billed for the final balance of the treatment.

We reserve the right to reschedule a lash booking, without penalty.  However, Lashes 888 Studio will do everything in our power not to reschedule your lash booking. 


Lash Extensions Attendance

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment is due to start.  If you arrive 15 mins late, we cannot provide the service booked that day and you will be billed for the remaining balance of the treatment.


Patch Tests

A patch test is optional, please let us know if you would like a patch test before your appointment.  See our contact page for contact information.


Lash Appointment Health & Safety

For health and safety reasons, children cannot be brought to appointments and we ask that you do not use your mobile phone during appointments and all devices must be put on silent.


Lash Extension Custom Styles

If you have a very specialised custom style in mind, complete with a photograph & mapping, we may add an extra £10 to £20 onto the price of the service.  You will be advised prior to the treatment.

Short Notice & Last Minute Course Rescheduling


For short notice rescheduling (between 24 and 48 hours), your course will be rescheduled to the next day that suits both parties, after a fee of £99 is paid to Lashes 888 Studio Ltd.  

If last minute rescheduling ( between 12 and 24 hours notice), your course will be rescheduled to the next day that suits both parties, after a fee of £109 is paid to Lashes 888 Studio Ltd.   

If you need to reschedule very last minute (less than 6 hours notice), your course will be rescheduled to the next day that suits both parties, after a fee of £129 is paid to Lashes 888 Studio Ltd. 

If you wish to cancel your booking at this point, all deposits & payments paid, are non-refundable & you will not be eligible for a refund.

We reserve the right to reschedule a course booking, with genuine reasons, without penalty.  However, Lashes 888 Studio will do everything in our power not to reschedule your course booking.

Additional Course training

If both parties feel additional guidance & training would benefit you, rather than going solo or receiving a refund, you may be offered an additional 1/2 day or full day training, at an agreed rate.  In some cases, you may be offered additional training, at no extra charge to you. 

NOTE - To qualify for additional training at no extra cost, you are required to demonstrate practical efforts on your part. This includes completing tasks and tutorials in your own time & practicing on a mannequin or a real person.

Change of Course - upgrades & downgrades

Should you wish to downgrade your Course; for example, you booked the Lash Master 5 in 1 Course and you wish to downgrade to the Beginner Course;

You can request a Downgrade of Course anytime by emailing Emma to lashedbyemma888@gmail.com.

If this is possible, Emma will confirm this.

If you haven't paid the remaining balance yet, the new final balance must be paid, as per the date in the personalised booking email, sent by Emma after you booked your course.  This outlines, the agreed training date or dates, along with the exact date and time, the final balance needs to be paid, along with bank details to make the bank transfer.

If you have paid the remaining balance, we are not obliged to provide a full or partial refund.

Should you wish to upgrade your course, for example you booked the Combined Course and you wish to upgrade to the Lash Master Course;

You can request an Upgrade of Course anytime by emailing Emma to lashedbyemma888@gmail.com.

If this is possible, Emma will confirm the balance to be paid (if any) and new date (if applicable & needed)
